Struggle, Criticism,Failure and Success

These 4 words can't be separated with each other - After a phase of continuous struggle, criticism and failure(although I call this learning phase and not Failure) people generally achieve success. Most of us fear from failure and don't encourage others or their children when they fail. Most of the success full people have failed 'N' number of times before they tasted success. "I am more successful than you because I have failed more than you in my life"- an extract I read in one of the best seller books .

"I have missed more than 9000 shots in my career. I 've lost almost 300 games, 26 time I have
been trusted to take the game winning shot and missed. I 've failed over & over again in my life. And that is how I succeed" - Michael Jordan. I would love to see a person Fail many times and each time learning from his past mistakes rather than getting succeeded in first attempt. What happens by failing after trying many a times a person reaches success sooner or later by eliminating the mistakes done earlier. The learning could be carried throughout his life.

All inventions and discoveries of this world have passed the phase of struggle, criticism, failure and finally achieved success. Any new idea, discovery or invention first of all meets rejection, then it crosses the tolerance limit, after which it might be violently opposed but if the person's decision is firm to keep trying and moving forward then one day that idea is accepted worldwide and becomes a common phenomena. Our history is filled with multiple examples. Before Wright brothers invented the flying machine was there any one who had thought that humans could fly? - Answer is No.There was a time in 90's when TV manufactures were told by people that TV selling has reached saturation and there is no market for TVs in the world as almost every house hold had access to TV and why would people now buy more TVs. But then after LCD came into picture and rest as they say is history. Not to tell how many time Einstein failed before the invention of bulb. Amitabh Bacchan was rejected by All India Radio because of his voice, got bankrupt as ABCL ran into huge debts but KBC bought him back in the entertainment business and now he is the Celebrity of the century. The common thing among these people was they failed and kept failing but they never stopped "TRYING" due to which they got success finally. Sachin Tendulkar failed in exams but now I haven't met an Indian who doesn't knows Sachin. Had Anna got scared from the treatment Raamdev got when he was thrown out of stage and stopped his struggle for Lokpal, we could'nt have got to see the history being made at Ramleela Maidaan with almost the entire India minus Government in support of the Bill.

The stone is not broken with the last stroke, the numerous cracks being made with full efforts before the last one are a result of the stone getting broken. So, if you are struggling, facing criticism and thinking that you might fail by doing something then learn from the examples quoted above, get charged, be hungry to get success make a picture of getting success in your mind then my dear friend one day sooner or later you will definitely achieve your dreams.

RUN for your life!! Importance of Plan B

A recent Juice advertisement being shown on channels these days clearly depicts that between the war of Breakfast and Office, office is the one which won majority of times. Time constraints, running to office and then coming back to home and then again next day the same cycle continues till we desperately wait for a Saturday or Sunday to arrive so that we can again get prepared for the next week to "RUN". Aren't we missing out of something? Do we have the time to call back home and ask our parents what they have been doing the entire day at our home towns? When was the last time you went for a vacation for a week? Do we have spare time left to check out what are relatives and cousins are upto with whom we have grown? Can we afford to miss out a single call from our offices which might cut out our weekend time? - You are coming on weekend its a statement from your Boss not a request. What if we fell ill and couldn't go to office one day? Will we get the salaries on the last day of the month-we are just working and running for our paychecks? The most beautiful lovable sentence these days is not - I love you; but "SALARY IS CREDITED". Can we afford to miss our cheque in time? We are living in the world of global recession ; every alternate year we hear news of recession and along with which comes the fear of sticking to our jobs and loosing our jobs - and we try it hard. But we never know when our company stops loving us. Can you say confidently that Yes I trust in company and my company can never throw me out(as I have put my ass on fire for years for the organization's growth) - how hard the market be struck by recession? - I doubt!

So what do we do? I believe in having a PLAN B for our lives. How many of us actually have a PLAN B in our lives and assured that they can be wealthy at the time of retirement or not working after the age of say 50?  The truth of our lives is that we have little or very less left in our savings accounts by the time we retire and hence most of the time dependant on our children. I don't want to face such situations and that is why I have started working on my Plan B in life. Because I never know when my company stops loving me. If you also feel that you want to change your lives, be more financially secure and want to LIVE your life not merely EXIST on this planet which all of us are currently doing then I have something for you which can not only change your lives but of your generations if taken seriously & done with passion & dedicated efforts.I can help and the reason I am writing this is because "I M MAD" which means I M MAKING A DIFFERENCE!

Failure is "NOTHING" JUST a mindset

I firmly have been a believer of the fact that Failure is NOTHING but just a mindset. People don't fail in reality; rather they JUST GIVE UP; that syndrome is popularly known as Failure among human beings.

Say for an instance a person is travelling between two cities and is driving a car in the middle of a highway. When he started his journey from City A to city B, he comes across several milestones each of which specify the distance left in kms. if suppose the distance is too long and journey is hectic with weather being too HOT, road filled with path holes and speed breakers in addition to lot of congestion due to traffic, the driver driving the car gets frustrated and tired of driving.Lets assume there are two drivers who left for the same destination at same time. The first driver took rest during the journey very often and had meals and refreshed himself to make sure he is rejuvenated each and every time, stopped at petrol pump and any of the restaurants. The second driver who also started for the same destination had his car's tank full when he started, was full stomach and had planned to eat during driving so that he doesn't looses time by stopping at restaurants or petrol pumps in between. He had planned and was constantly thinking of covering the journey at a specified time.Who do u think would have reached the destination earlier - obviously the second one; who had a vision in his mind and showed consistency by driving continuously, didn't gave any excuses of being tired or getting slow down. This applies in real life as well. People who are consistent, never give up, fail but even after failure stood up and then kept themselves going as if nothing had happened are bound to succeed contrary to the people who did exactly opposite. People who are afraid of completing their tasks, have pre conceived thoughts in their minds that they might not achieve something, cant show consistency will definitely FAIL.

Although I again say that Failure is nothing; just a mindset and winners know it. If YOU THINK , YOU CAN -> YOU CAN but if You think You CAN'T -> You are right.........What an extraordinary thought, according to which it's clear that people who think Will be able to Do and Can do will definitely succeed but people who have already made up their minds that they wont be able to make it will definitely FAIL.

Keep it simple and crisp is what I also believe while writing, so that the interest of people who are reading is not lost. Let me know about how I wrote this article and the previous one which was "From an employee to an entrepreneur", so that I can keep myself  improving. So waiting for everyone's comment for my personal writing improvement is definitely awaited.

Farmer V/s Lawyer

A New York lawyer went duck hunting in eastern North Carolina. He shot and dropped a bird, but it fell into a farmer's field on the other side of a fence. As the lawyer climbed over the fence, an older man asked him what he was doing. The lawyer responded, "I shot a duck and it fell in this field, I'm going to retrieve it." The old farmer replied. "This is my property, and you are not coming over here." The indignant lawyer said, "I am one of the best trial attorneys in the U.S. and, if you don't let me get that duck, I'll sue you and take everything!

The old farmer smiled and said, "Apparently, you don't know how we do things here in North Carolina. We settle small disagreements like this with the NC Three-Kick Rule." The lawyer asked, "What is the NC three-Kick Rule?" The Farmer replied. "Well, first I kick you three times and then you kick me three times, and so on, back and forth, until someone gives up." The New York attorney quickly thought about the proposed contest and decided that he could easily take the old southerner. He agreed to abide by the local custom.

The old farmer slowly climbed down from the tractor and walked up to the city feller. His first kick planted the toe of his heavy work boot into the lawyer's groin and dropped him to his knees. His next too kicks caused the lawyer so much pain that he just about gave up. However, the New York lawyer summoned every bit of his will and managed to get to his feet and said, "Okay, you old redneck southerner, now it's my turn." The old North Carolina farmer smiled and said, "Naw, I give up. You can have the duck."
